The Doctor
I am Dr. Chandwani or Brij. I went to dental school in India in the nineties and practiced general dentistry for a few years before coming to USA. At a time when very few dentist went for residency in Orofacial Pain and TMJ disorders (even today, there are only a handful of practicing Orofacial Pain Specialist who are residency trained), I was lucky that I had one of the best and well rounded mentorships at Tufts which included Neurology, Occlusion, Behavioral medicine and Facial Pain.

He has gone above and beyond treating me for my TMJ Pain, trying different treatments until one worked best for me. How We Treat
TMJ pain is not a diagnosis as it could mean one of several things. All it indicates is that the pain is in or around the temporomandibular joint (TMJ).
