The Doctor
I am Dr. Chandwani or Brij. I went to dental school in India in the nineties and practiced general dentistry for a few years before coming to USA. At a time when very few dentist went for residency in Orofacial Pain and TMJ disorders (even today, there are only a handful of practicing Orofacial Pain Specialist who are residency trained), I was lucky that I had one of the best and well rounded mentorships at Tufts which included Neurology, Occlusion, Behavioral medicine and Facial Pain.
Highly recommend Dr. Chanwani for any & all TMJ / Dental Pain Management needs. He is one of the most caring Doctor I haveever met that truly wants to help his patients. He has gone above and beyond treating me for my TMJ Pain, trying different treatments until one worked best for me. Gis staff is excellent as well, I appriciate the follow up phone calls asking how I am feeling. I am very gratful to Dr. Chandwani

Botulinum toxin (commonly known as Botox®) is an effective treatment for jaw and head pain. Botox® can help severe teeth grinding by reducing the frequency or intensity (or both) of jaw muscle contractions.
Mouthguards come in various different shapes and colors and other unique features. Most commonly they are used to guard the teeth as the name suggests.
Trigger point injections are used commonly for TMJ disorders and jaw spasms. For TMJ disorders, trigger point injections mainly focus on relieving and reducing muscle pain.
